The Chongqing International Auto Industry Fair opens on June 7 to 13

The 2016 (eighteenth) China Chongqing International Auto Industry Fair (hereinafter referred to as Chongqing Auto Fair) will be held from June 7th to June 13th at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center.

Over 100 automotive companies will participate in the Chongqing Auto Fair and more than 1000 vehicle models will be displayed at the exhibition. Over 30 new-car debuts will be displayed. The overall exhibition scale will be covering an area of over 160 thousand square meters. This exhibition is to attract over 1200 reporters and 500 thousand visitors.

There is an obvious increase in the exhibiting brands and booth areas, and the manufactures have improved their support on the auto fair. This year, the Chongqing Auto Fair features a significant increase in the number of exhibiting brands. The exhibition area is largely expanded for each brand and increased manufacturer support.

The manufacturers have improved their support to the auto fair. Over 100 exhibiting brands will participate in the fair including exporting brands and over 30 imported brands, which are higher than before. Brands such as BORGWARD, Lotus and Tesla are who will all make their first debut at this Auto Fair.

The Manufacturers have improved their support to the the Auto Fair. They have been greatly increased; particularly, manufacturer investment in booth construction and field activities has been dramatically expanded since previous years. The booth areas of many brands have been greatly promoted.

Brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes, FAW-Volkswagen, Dong feng-Nissan, FAW-Toyota, GAC-Toyota, Beijing Hyundai, and GAC-Trumpchi [Guangzhou Automotive] ac and Kei have all feature booth areas of more than 1000 square meters, and booth areas, Changan-Ford both as well as Changan even have feature booth areas of more than 2000 square meters. Further, the booth area of some other brands, such as Maserati, Lincoln, Volvo, Cadillac,Guangqi- Honda and MG, have also been significantly improved expanded than former years.

The 2016 Chongqing Auto Fair show has paid much attention to the setting establishment of a special area for the display of new energy automobile e-vehicles in which eleven automotive brands will exhibit over 30 kinds of new energy automobile e-vehicles that represent incorporate their advanced technologies.

Except in addition to the consumer passenger vehicles, this exhibition also includes display highlighting commercial vehicles, refitted vehicles, automobile accessories, and automotive finance.

The Media attention has been greatly improved and the Auto Fair’s influence has obviously expanded to greater reaches. With the improvement of auto fair’s increased influence and its Summit Forum, the Chongqing Auto Fair show has been the focus of many authoritative important media outlets under the propelling of committee. They had received the answers of media outlets, both domestic and international, which will participate in this event.

Besides, over 200 Micro blogs and “we chat” public accounts will also join into the reporting of the exhibition. It is worth mentioning that the activity, “Auto Media Night”, an event that aims to reach consensus among industry leaders, has made great progress. Not only including the active participation of high-rise level leaders of conventional auto media and network actively participate, and the Auto Fair also provides an offline platform for and has received high praise from the domestic automotive industry and news media. The above work will further enhance the brand value of the exhibitors, promote the auto sales and the spread of auto culture, and further which will expand the influence of Chongqing.
