Hussain Kuli Khan: New CEO General Tyre

Mr. Hussain Kuli Khan, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The General Tyre and Rubber Company of Pakistan Ltd. in 2015. Khan is an accomplished professional with substantial and diversified managerial and leadership experience in the manufacturing sector.

His association with The General Tyre and Rubber Company of Pakistan Ltd. dates back to 2006 where he was General Manager Plant and Logistics Operations. Since 2009, he had been serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). He has worked for and has been a key supporter of empowering and motivating colleagues with his business inspirational ideas.

Hussain Kuli Khan’s business excellence and entrepreneurial attributes are evidenced in company’s major financial achievements over the past three years. He is also offering his services to the business associations and has served as President and Vice- President of Landhi Association of Trade and Industry (LATI) Karachi. Prior to that, he held Executive Finance & Executive Director Finance positions from 1997-2006 at JDM Textile Mills Ltd.

In 2003, he was elected as the Chairman of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Vice Chairman APTMA Central Body. Inheriting key leadership and entrepreneurial skills from his family, Khan is in receipt of Business Administration qualification from Gettysburg College, USA and attended several professional programs in Europe. He has always been a peoples’ manager, empowering colleagues and pioneering solutions for solving complex scenarios by offering effective and sustainable directions. He is a great believer of the fact that it is not possible to have satisfied customers without maintaining and continuously raising teams’ satisfaction. These are some of the main reasons for his influential leadership and popularity among over 2300 employees of The General Tyre and Rubber Company of Pakistan Ltd. As a newly appointed CEO, It is worth noticing that Mr. Khan’s main business agenda is also very closely tied with protecting the environment.
