For the very first time, we were invited by Government College for Woman Baghbanpura, Lahore. The event was Girls Guide Annual Handicrafts Exhibition where the management of the school wanted to do something unique and beneficial for the girls. So, we tried to make synergy effect.
We, the Pakistan Bikers Club planned a Training Session & lecture at the college. Our biker girls made a demonstration of safe riding. They were wearing got elbow and knee guards and their helmets for the demonstration ride. Ms. Tayyaba & Ms. Rahila both did a great job by riding with full confidence in front of a huge crowd. After that they had a ceremony in a big hall where the Founder & Head Safe Riding – Road Safety, Principal and the Chief Guest shared their experiences with the audience.
After the ceremony ended, all the officials had some refreshments and then started best part of the event. The lecture by Founder & Head Safe Riding – Road Safety followed by a training session by Mr. Umair Zia, Ms. Tayyaba and Ms. Rahila. It was a superb event where we noticed a great enthusiasm among girls. About 15 to 20 of them wanted to start proper training, while others were asking for bike prices etc and some others were ready to buy an imported scooty. As awareness, trainings, lectures are the best thing and perhaps a specialty of PBC, so we hope to plan such things on regular basis in future too.
