2013 at Pakistan Bikers Club may well be called the year when the awareness program started in real sense of the term; a mission at PBC. We came to know about Lahore Expo being conducted by ACTEPR focusing the education sector. So we approached them and sought approval for reasonable space to present our work. We would mention here the name of Ms. Farhat who was very kind and co-operative along with her team.
The stall featured many attractions. First, to mention obviously the awareness through our printed materials, discussions of our seniors namely Mr. Farid Dogar, Mr. Umair Zia, Mr. Talal Malik and myself. We also satisfied the queries of the visitors to our stall. The entertainment for seniors, youth and children was done by putting on display different classes of bikes.
The new Yamaha R-6 was a real attention grabber for youth and kids alike. The world famous Africa Twin attracted everyone and was a good source for all to know about proper touring. Yamaha TTR was catching people with it’s capabilities for extreme off-road riding.
Moreover, we had also arranged Piaggio’s (Italy) Vespa Scooter, which was in fact, one of the more attractive item at our stall. We also had street bikes to let people know about latest launches of Pakistan. Our partner PBC Motor Sport had displayed some cool riding gear items and it was also a powerful segment out there. Our major supporter Ravi Automobile Pvt. Ltd. and Pak Suzuki had also made some presence with a few models. We are indebted to the whole management of Expo Lahore for their co-operation.
